About Me

I am a Child, Adolescent & Young Adult Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist and Autogenic Therapist based in Eynsham, Oxfordshire (near Oxford and Witney). I work with children, adolescents, and young adults who may be struggling with emotional, behavioural, or relational difficulties. My approach offers a thoughtful and containing space to explore feelings, understand underlying issues, and support growth and change. Since 2004, I have worked with children and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, distressing thoughts, emotional and behavioural difficulties, the effects of traumatic experiences, and neurodiversity. My experience includes therapeutic work at the Mulberry Bush Organisation (Therapeutic Residential School and Therapeutic Community) and within the NHS across Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS and Infant-Parent Perinatal Service). Additionally to Psychotherapy, I offer Autogenic Therapy to children and adults. This gentle and structured approach helps promote emotional balance and physical wellbeing through self-regulation and relaxation techniques. With over 20 years of experience supporting young people, I provide a thoughtful and containing space to help young minds to grow, recover, and understand themselves through a honest, reliable and compassionate relationship

In addition to my private work, I work as a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist with Oxford CAMHS (NHS). I previously taught Child Development, Infant Observation, and Work Discussion at the Tavistock Clinic in London.

Therapeutic Approach

My therapeutic approach is rooted in providing a thoughtful, containing space where children, adolescents, and young adults can feel safe to explore their difficulties and internal worlds. I believe that emotional and behavioural difficulties are often communications of underlying distress that haven't yet found words. By focusing on the relationship and the unique developmental journey of each individual, we work together to understand these communications and foster meaningful, lasting change. When appropriate, I can offer Autogenic Therapy, a structured self-help approach. I tailor my interventions to meet the specific needs of the young person or adult.
