MY PSYCHOTHERAPY APPROACHES
The approach of Child and Adolescent Psychotherapists seeks to look beneath the surface of difficult emotions, behaviours and relationships to help young people and their families to understand themselves and their problems. I can help with a wide range of emotional, behavioural and mental health difficulties from pregnancy to young adulthood, including: anxiety, depression, attachment difficulties, trauma, behaviour difficulties, aggression, self-harm, difficulty attending school, low self-esteem, loss and bereavement, sexuality and gender identity difficulties, and postnatal depression. My focus is on helping children, adolescents and young adults make sense of their feelings, thoughts and experiences. I can offer weekly sessions and intensive psychotherapy (up to 3 times a week). I am a member of the Association for Child Psychotherapists (ACP) and offer the following interventions:
